About Jason Knight
Jason Knight is the owner of The Law Office of Jason Knight where he focuses his practice on criminal defense. Jason is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts in both state and federal courts. Formerly, Jason was a Special Assistant General with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General where he prosecuted violations of the criminal law including major crime such as child molestation and armed robbery. Jason has also conducted in service training to various law enforcement agencies on topics associated with DUI law enforcement. In addition to his law practice, Jason is a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2016 and continues to serve today. Jason is the second vice chair of the House Judiciary Committee and is a member of the House Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the House State Government and Elections Committee. Jason is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He earned his J.D. from Suffolk Law School in 2005 and his B.F.A. from Emerson College in 1998. Between 1988 and 1996 Jason was an active duty member of the United States Navy.
