Jere Mason served his community as a deputy sheriff with the Tipton County Sheriff's Office for 12 years before leaving for law school at the rank of Sergeant. As a deputy, Mr. Mason gained familiarity with the nuances of our criminal justice system. He served as a SWAT officer, Field Training Officer, and Field Supervisor. He gained an array of experience as an instructor teaching law enforcement throughout the mid-south in the areas of: defensive tactics, S.T.O.P.S. tactics, DUI investigation, constitutional law, SWAT tactics, firearms training, search and seizure, ASP deployment, handcuffing, advanced shield deployment. He is available as an EXPERT WITNESS in multiple areas of law enforcement tactics and operation. His hard work ethic and discipline was further fortified through difficult physical training as he entered martial arts at the age of 6. Mr. Mason went on to represent the United States in martial arts competition as part of the U.S. Demonstration Team from 1997 to 2005 traveling several times to China, South Korea, and even North Korea. He holds the rank of 6th degree Master in taekwondo as well as advanced ranks in several other martial systems. He is an undefeated professional mixed martial arts fighter. Jere Mason received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Cum Laude from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tn in 2011. He received a Master's of Business Administration degree from Bethel University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey's School of Law. Jere Mason has owned and successfully operated several small businesses over the last two decades. As a business consultant he has helped numerous businesses not only survive, but thrive by teaching them innovative sales, marketing, and operation strategies. He brings his years of experience from the business world to the Huffman Mason's business/legal consulting division.
