About Collin A. Evans

Collin Evans Law, PLLC, is a Houston, Texas, based criminal defense law firm founded by attorney Collin Evans. Mr. Evans handles all types of criminal matters including DWI, DUI, drug possession charges, assault, family violence, theft, driver's license suspensions, expunction and sealing of criminal records, and other misdemeanors and felonies. Before founding his firm, Mr. Evans developed his litigation skills through clerking and practicing as an associate attorney at a prominent criminal defense firm. While serving in these roles, he was involved in litigating many high-profile cases, including the case against Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor. Mr. Evans continually works to be prepared for ever client's situation especially in DWI cases where he has focused on training to be able to challenge the government's experts. Collin completed an intensive 160-hour analytical lab training program at Axion Labs in Chicago. The program included a series of hand-on courses in Forensic Chromatography: Theory & Practice, Forensic Analysis of Solid Drugs, and Forensic Principles of DUID. Collin earned the Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Designation as recognized by the American Chemical Society, which is the highest form of scientific recognition available for lawyers. He completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)/International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program, just like the police officers that administer the roadside tests in DWI cases. Additionally, he has completed a comprehensive course on Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE), as well as the Drug Evaluation and Classification Program (DECP/DRE). Collin is also an active member of The College of State Bar of Texas, National College for DUI Defense, DUI Defense Lawyer's Association, and multiple defense lawyer associations around the Houston area, including the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer and Texas Lawyer Rising Star for multiple years. He has also been recognized for his accomplishments by Avvo.com who has honored Collin with the Client's Choice Award every year since opening his firm in 2012. Mr. Evans serves clients in Houston and throughout Harris, Fort Bend, Galveston, Montgomery, Brazoria, Chambers, and Waller counties.

But what about *client care*? True client care goes beyond deadlines and filings; it's about treating clients as *people*-scared, uncertain, and in need of guidance. And when done...

Personal Contact: Using the Officer's Observations Against Them
