About Jonathan E. Rooker

The history behind how I became a Fresno DUI Attorney is long a long and winding path. I began my journey in law by attending the Basic Reserve Police Academy. I continued by completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. My next educational pursuit was completing a Masters of Science in Ed. Counseling. Then I made one of the toughest and most rewarding decisions of a my life, I entered Law School, and three years later, I graduated. For most attorneys, finishing law school is the greatest and final academic achievement to be accomplished. I viewed it as a new beginning, a starting point to learn everything possible about law. I joined CA DUI Lawyers Association, and the National College DUI Defense immediately after getting sworn in. Next, I attended seminars around the sate, and eventually the nation. I entered The University of Florida and earned a Masters of Science in Forensic Science, then received a Masters of Science in Pharmacy also from the University of Florida. Expert witness work has become an integral part of my profession, as understanding the science behind DUI's and other forensic science aspects is incredibly helpful in assessing a case. I am a two time attendee of the National Forensic College put on by Barry Scheck at New York University.
