About Tiffini K. Duncan
Tiffini is a seasoned DUI attorney who has handled thousands of DUI cases. She has been on both sides of the law and knows how to fight for you. Her practice is primarily focused on DUI defense and she is not just a pleader; she is an experienced and skilled DUI trial attorney who takes cases to jury trial when the circumstances dictate. She has excellent negotiating skills and works hard to protect the driving privileges of drivers who come to her for help. Most cases do not go before a jury, but by aggressively investigating and working each case, she is able to negotiate from a position of strength, as prosecutors know that she will take a case all the way through jury trial when the circumstances warrant a jury trial. She joined the Duncan Law Firm in 2010, bringing energy and creativity to the firm. In 2015, she became the managing owner. Tiffini combines the tenacity of an experienced lawyer with genuine compassion for her clients. Tiffini also teaches other lawyers specifically about DUI laws. In November 2016, Tiffini was a course instructor on winning your case through pre-trial motions in DUI cases, at the 6th annual DUI Super Symposium. In May of 2018, Tiffini was a speaker at a continuing legal education seminar, Georgia DUI Update, to instruct other lawyers on DUI laws and litigation practices. She attended the University of Arkansas, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science Cum Laude in 2002, and her J.D. degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2005. She attended law school on a full academic scholarship, served as a Member of the Arkansas Law Review, and graduated in the top 10% of her class.

Written by Jonathan Dichter The Heart of Client Care: Moving Beyond Case Management In the legal profession, we often talk about "case management" - the systems and processes that keep our cases moving efficiently. But what about *client care*? True client care goes beyond deadlines and filings; it's about treating clients as *people*-scared, uncertain, and in need of guidance. And when done...
Personal Contact: Using the Officer's Observations Against Them

Written by Charles GoodwinEdited by Michelle Behan and Steven Hernandez The typical DUI investigation has three phases. It begins with the vehicle in motion and focuses on driving patterns that officers are trained might indicate impairment. Next is personal contact, where the officer will observe physical manifestations that are also purportedly correlated with alcohol ingestion and impairment. Finally, the officer will...
